FRENCH LICK – Regional Opportunity Inc. (ROI) will hold its Annual Report to the Region event on Tuesday, February 18th, at the French Lick Resort Conference Center. This free event is open to employers, educators, community leaders, economic development organizations, workforce development professionals, nonprofits, and anyone interested in the Indiana Uplands.

The day will feature various sessions on the region’s progress and future development. Registration and check-in begin at 8:30 a.m., followed by ROI’s Annual Report to the Region presentation at 9:00 a.m. The morning will also include breakout sessions on talent development, creative capital financing, rural community initiatives, the evolution of life sciences, and early childhood education. Lunch will be served at 11:45 a.m., followed by a keynote address from Dr. Angela Lewis, Technical Director at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division. ROI will also present the 2025 Indiana Uplands Regional Innovation Awards, recognizing achievements in education, workforce, economic development, and quality of place.
Afternoon working sessions will run from 1:45 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., covering topics like arts and culture, regional development initiatives, and the ROI STEM Fellowship. Descriptions of these sessions are also available on the ROI website.
