BLOOMINGTON – Come coach the next big college basketball star.
The Twin Lakes Recreation Center is seeking volunteer coaches for the fall 2024 season of Bloomington Youth Basketball. No prior coaching experience is necessary.
Practices are once a week; coaches choose a practice time between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. Leagues are coed through Grade 3; girls play in a girls-only league beginning in Grade 4. Season III features the addition of a Middle School Boys’ league for Grades 7 and 8. All practices and games occur at the Twin Lakes Recreation Center, 1700 West Bloomfield Road, Bloomington.
Practices and games run January 27 – March 13. Expect to potentially play on Saturdays to finish the season before Spring Break.
A mandatory coaches’ meeting and player draft will be held on Wednesday, January 8, at 6:30 p.m. at the Twin Lakes Recreation Center.
