Four local Indiana State Police Troopers recognized by Mothers Against Drunk Drivers

BLOOMINGTON – On Thursday four local Indiana State Troopers were recognized by the Indiana chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (M.A.D.D.) for excellence in getting drunk drivers off Indiana’s roads.

NHTSA data shows nearly 30 people die every day across the United States in drunk driving crashes. That averages to one preventable death every 50 minutes, making the efforts of these troopers even more commendable.

Trooper Noah Ewing of the Indiana State Police Jasper Post was recognized for his impressive efforts. In 2020, Ewing was responsible for removing 50 drunk drivers from our local roads. Ewing primarily patrols in Orange County.  Ewing graduated from the 75th Recruit Academy.
