BEDFORD — The Lawrence County Highway Department has announced a temporary road closure on Thursday along Bartlettsville Road for a scheduled culvert replacement project.
According to Lawrence County Highway Superintendent Brian D. Sowder, work is set to begin at 8:00 a.m., with construction expected to be fully completed before the afternoon.
The specific work zone is located between 5961 and 6061 Bartlettsville Road, positioned on the stretch between Ramsey Ridge Road and Dunn Bridge Road.
During the construction window, the road will be closed to through traffic in the immediate work area to allow highway crews to safely remove and replace the existing drainage structure. Motorists who regularly travel through the area are advised to plan alternative routes and allow for potential travel delays during the morning hours.
