INDIANA – Attorney General Todd Rokita today issued the following statement:

“Elections matter, and the results last night will have an effect on Hoosiers and Americans across the country.
With several conservative attorneys general that we partnered with getting caught in a national crossfire, resulting in them getting voted out of office, the work we have been doing on issues that matter to Hoosiers is more important now than ever.
The same is true at the Statehouse. We have lost valued conservative leaders in the General Assembly like House Speaker Todd Huston and Chairman Chris Jeter, who were instrumental in helping advance some of our work, including our efforts to combat illegal immigration by passing the FAIRNESS Act. I want to thank them for standing up to protect Hoosiers. As the leadership in the General Assembly changes, the work our office does to serve as a bulwark of liberty in Indiana will only become more significant.
Here is what has not changed. I will keep listening and doing the work the people of Indiana elected me to do. We will still successfully defend life and the unborn. We will successfully combat illegal immigration. We are still going to kill woke policies and transanity. We are still winning against Big Tech too and the harms it is inflicting on our children.”
