MITCHELL — Spring Mill State Park is preparing to welcome visitors and artisans back to its historic pioneer village for its annual Craft Fair, scheduled for October 30 and November 1.

Set against the scenic backdrop of the park’s rustic village, the popular event transforms each historic cabin into a unique storefront featuring a wide variety of handmade goods and wares crafted by regional artisans and makers.
The craft fair will be open during the following hours:
- Saturday, October 30: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Sunday, November 1: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
To attend the fair, regular park entrance fees apply (or a valid annual park pass). Visitors entering the village will also be charged an additional $3 daily fee for adults, while children ages 5 and under enter for free.

Organizers advise attendees to bring cash, as cellular service is limited throughout most of the village area, preventing vendors from processing credit card transactions. On-site food vendors will also be available to serve lunch during the event.
The event is jointly sponsored by Spring Mill State Park, the Friends of Spring Mill State Park, and Lawrence County Tourism. 100% of the funds raised from village ticket sales directly benefit the park, going toward future improvement projects and preservation efforts.
