BEDFORD — Classic cars, community spirit, and a great cause will take center stage this week as Majestic Care of Bedford hosts its highly anticipated 2nd Annual Car Show & Silent Auction.
Set for Saturday, October 10, at the facility located at 2111 Norton Lane, the family-friendly event invites car enthusiasts and community members alike to take a trip back in time while supporting a meaningful local initiative.
Vehicle registration kicks off at 10:30 AM with a $20 entry fee per vehicle. Awards and trophies will be formally presented at 1:00 PM, honoring winners in fields including Best Muscle Car, Best Classic Car, Best Truck, Best Motorcycle, and the coveted Best in Show.
Beyond the gleaming chrome and roaring engines, the event is dedicated to giving back. All car show proceeds will directly benefit the facility’s Pediatric Intellectual Disability Units, helping to provide holiday Christmas gifts for the children they serve.
Attendees won’t go hungry, thanks to a robust lineup of food and refreshments. The La-Or-Ma Shrine Club will be volunteering at the grills, serving up classic trackside eats including hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, and drinks for just $5 each. Additionally, Java J’s Coffee & Bakery Truck will be onsite early from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM to keep visitors fueled up while donating a portion of their proceeds to the Pediatric Christmas Fund.
Guests can also browse and bid on a diverse array of items during the extensive silent auction, featuring generous donations from local community partners. Participating organizations include Southern Care Hospice, Gentiva Hospice, IHC, Daily Sip, SIAGS, Compass Park, Paradigm Health, Amedisys, Growby’s RTO Home Furnishings, Limestone Chapel of George Funeral Care, Maid to Perfection, Conjuring Memories Candle Co., and Mud Majesty.
Organizers invite friends, families, and vehicle owners of all kinds to come out for a day filled with fun, food, and community fellowship.
