Indiana Chamber expands legislative preview for 2027 session

INDIANAPOLIS – Business leaders, policymakers and other stakeholders will get an early look at the policy, fiscal and economic issues expected to drive the 2027 General Assembly during the Indiana Chamber of Commerce’s expanded Indiana Legislative Preview on November 16 in downtown Indianapolis.

Held the day before Organization Day, the program will bring together legislative leaders, top fiscal officials and business voices as lawmakers prepare to craft the state’s next two-year budget. It will include a panel featuring all four caucus leaders, analysis of election implications and voter polling, and sessions on data centers, energy, infrastructure and economic development.

A key conversation on the 2027 budget outlook and fiscal priorities will feature House and Senate fiscal leaders, Indiana Secretary of Management and Budget Lisa Hershman and State Budget Director Chad Ranney.

Indiana Chamber President and CEO Vanessa Green Sinders

“The decisions made during the 2027 General Assembly will have a direct impact on Hoosier employers, the workforce and the state’s economic competitiveness,” says Indiana Chamber President and CEO Vanessa Green Sinders. “This expanded program will give business leaders, Statehouse professionals and the media direct insight into the priorities, fiscal realities and emerging issues that will define the session.”

The day begins at 8:30 a.m. with a networking breakfast, includes the Indiana Chamber’s Legislative Champions Luncheon, and adjourns at 2 p.m. A virtual attendance option is also available. Tickets are $149 per person for Indiana Chamber members and $249 for non-members.
