OOLITIC — Town officials in Oolitic announced at 2:10 p.m. today that the municipal street department is actively working to locate and repair a major water leak affecting the local utility system.
During the ongoing repair operations, residents and businesses throughout the town may experience significantly low water pressure or temporary full service interruptions.
Local utility officials noted that crews are working as quickly as possible to isolate the leak, make necessary pipe repairs, and restore standard pressure across the distribution network.
