LOOGOOTEE — The Loogootee City Council is scheduled to convene on Monday, Oct. 14, 2026, for a key public meeting where members will consider formal adoption of the city’s upcoming municipal budget.
The meeting will take place at 6:15 p.m., or immediately following the conclusion of the Board of Public Works and Safety meeting, inside Council Chambers at City Hall, located at 401 JFK Avenue.
In addition to voting on the budget adoption, council members are set to tackle several operational and infrastructure matters. Key items on the night’s agenda include:
- Fire Department Request: Consideration of a formal request submitted by local fire officials.
- Community Crossings Extra-Work Agreement: Approval of an extra-work agreement related to the city’s 2027 Community Crossings Matching Grant (CCMG) infrastructure program.
- Claims & Payments: Review and action on pending municipal payment applications.
