Laedon Jones slipped past Colton Henderson 6-2, 7-5 at No.1 singles, Aden Ralston went the distance to edge Rolen Smith 6-1, 6-7 (6-8 in the tiebreaker), 7-6 (7-4 in the second tiebreaker) at No.2. Levi Thompson rallied from one set down to stop Owen Sullivan 4-6, 7-5, 7-5 at No.3.
“Wow, what a match,” BNL coach Ian Dillman said. “Singles showed up today. Everything had a comeback in it. It was insane.
”Levi and Aden both had this issue where I thought they were down and out but came back. I’m so happy with the way singles played. They finally put forth what we have been working on and dominated the courts.”
The Rams took the doubles. Blaze Knepp and Klay Turner topped Jackson Corey and Asher Thompson 7-5, 6-4 at No.1, while Malte Kohls and Grant McAdams battled back to defeat Trey Kiser and Traeden Robinson 3-6, 6-3, 7-5 at No.2.
