NASHVILLE – The Indiana Supreme Court will travel to the Brown County Music Center in Nashville on Tuesday, October 6. The Court will hold oral argument in Carla Miller v. Indiana Gas Company Inc. (26S-CT-190), a civil case that considers what evidence is relevant to deciding whether natural gas was properly odorized before a residential gas explosion.
The Court regularly holds oral arguments at the Statehouse in Indianapolis and occasionally schedules arguments outside the capital. Traveling oral arguments allow students, the press, and the public in other areas of the state the opportunity to see the work of the Court.
The argument will take place at 10:30 a.m. (Eastern) at Brown County Music Center at 200 Maple Leaf Boulevard, Nashville, Indiana 47448. The 40-minute argument is open to the press and public. Available seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Those interested in attending will be required to enter through the main doors of the Music Center and go through security. Parking for guests is available in the main lot to the west of the Music Center.
