Jerry D. Kinser, 75, of Heltonville, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born August 5, 1951, he was the son of Eathel and Hilda (Martin) Kinser. Jerry married Gyla Turpin on November 29, 1975. He was a self-employed school bus driver for forty years and farmed for fifty years.
He is survived by his wife, Gyla of Heltonville; a son, Jerrod Kinser of Heltonville; daughter, Kena Peek of
Heltonville; two grandchildren, Joey Lynn Peek and Josh Peek; sister-in-law, Pat Beavers; three nephews, Jeremy Kinser, Darin Kinser, Michael Fleetwood; a niece, Stacey Brosamle.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and sister-in-law, Herman Dwight Kinser and wife Brenda, a nephew, Dusty Fleetwood, and a brother-in-law, Steve Beavers.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 29th, in Gilgal Cemetery in Heltonville. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at Day & Carter Mortuary.
