BEDFORD — Runners and walkers preparing for the annual Limestone Capital Half Marathon presented by McIntyre Bros. have until Aug. 31 to register before entry fees increase.
Starting Sept. 1, registration prices will increase by $10, so don’t wait to sign up! The race is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 3, starting and finishing in front of the Milwaukee Depot at 14th and J streets in downtown Bedford.
Current registration rates are:
- Half Marathon: $60 (starts at 8:05 a.m.)
- 5K: $30 (starts at 8:10 a.m.)
- 1-Mile Walk: $20 (starts at 8:15 a.m.)
- Youth (ages 1–14): $15 for any of the main events
Special registration pricing is also available for Ainsley’s Angels participants, who start at 8:00 a.m. Registration for pushers and runners is $25 for the 5K and $50 for the half marathon. Registration for Ainsley’s Angels riders is free.
All participants in the half marathon, 5K, and 1-mile walk will receive finisher medals, and t-shirts are guaranteed to those who register by August 31. The half marathon features a cash purse, along with a special bonus awarded to the top male and female finishers from Lawrence County. Age group awards will also be presented.
