BEDFORD – Bedford North Lawrence posted a 173-188 win over Bloomington South during girls high school golf action on the West Course at Stonecrest on Monday.
Sammie Nusbaum paced the Stars with a 40 while Emma Voris added a 41.
“Each girl really just had one hole jump up on them,” BNL coach Carly Stigall said. “And honestly, the back-to-school sickness has hit our team, so a lot of swings were weak. We have some fine-tuning to do.”
Kadynn Canada, who birdied the par-5 first hole, carded a 43 and Bella Warren finished with 49 to cap BNL’s scoring.
Lyla Haugh and Silvia Walker had 43s for the Panthers.
BNL will host Martinsville on Thursday.
