Indiana businesses head to Washington for D.C. INsider meeting

INDIANA – Hoosier business leaders will gather in the nation’s capital September 15-16 for the Indiana Chamber of Commerce’s D.C. INsider trip. This is the organization’s annual two-day forum that connects the Hoosier business community with the people and policies impacting their companies and organizations.

A highlight of the event is a breakfast panel discussion with Indiana’s congressional delegation moderated by Gerry Dick, host and founder of Inside INdiana Business.

“With so much at stake at the federal level, this is a timely opportunity for Hoosier business leaders to hear directly from – and engage with – their federal legislators and key government officials,” says Indiana Chamber President and CEO Vanessa Green Sinders. “D.C. INsider gives Indiana employers a valuable forum to share their priorities and perspectives with decision-makers in Washington.”

The agenda also features roundtables with U.S. House and Senate staff, a national defense panel as well as election insights from Jessica Taylor of The Cook Political Report with Amy Walter. To cap the first day, a reception takes place at the new IU Capital Campus followed by a behind-the-scenes tour of the U.S. Capitol.
