BEDFORD — A portion of Leatherwood Road will temporarily close to traffic to accommodate maintenance work, county officials announced.
The closure will take place on Leatherwood Road just east of Brown Station Road to allow crews to complete a culvert replacement.
According to Lawrence County Highway Department Superintendent Brian Sowder, the road will close at 8:00 a.m. and is expected to reopen by 2:30 p.m. at the latest.
Motorists are advised to plan alternative routes around the area during the work hours to avoid potential delays.
