Domestic call leads to drug charges; Three arrested in Greene County

GREENE COUNTY What began as a response to a domestic dispute led to a drug investigation and the arrest of three individuals on methamphetamine and firearm charges.

Deputies with the Greene County Sheriff’s Department initially arrived at a home on North County Line Road to investigate a reported domestic incident. During the course of their inquiry, officers observed evidence indicating illegal substances were present inside the residence.

After securing a search warrant, deputies executed a search of the home and seized multiple pieces of evidence, resulting in several felony and misdemeanor charges against the occupants.

The individuals arrested and their respective charges include:

  • Benjamin Brown: Charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of a syringe, and possession of paraphernalia.
  • Ashlie Chambers: Charged with possession of methamphetamine with a firearm, possession of a controlled substance with a firearm, possession of a syringe, and possession of paraphernalia.
  • Stacie Lapresto: Arrested on one count of possession of a legend drug.

All three suspects were taken into custody and booked following the search. The investigation remains ongoing.

Those arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
