SHOALS — The Martin County Alliance for Economic Growth is calling on residents to help shape the future of residential development across the county by participating in a new affordable housing survey.

The Alliance has recently partnered on several regional housing initiatives, including working alongside the Indiana Uplands Regional Land Bank and the Martin County Redevelopment Commission to tackle blighted properties and create infill single-family housing in communities like Shoals.
Community input from the new survey will build on regional frameworks like the Indiana Uplands Housing Study, helping local leaders advocate for grant funding, attract private residential developers, and ensure attainable housing options remain available for both existing residents and newcomers.
