BEDFORD — Applications are now officially open for the Leadership Lawrence County (LLC) Class of 2026–27, offering local professionals and community members an opportunity to develop critical leadership skills and deepen their engagement with regional issues.
Established in 1986, the long-running professional development initiative runs for nine months, from September through May. Participants meet one Friday per month to explore key sectors shaping the region, including economic development, local government, nonprofit organizations, regional tourism, and personal leadership strategies.

Developing Future Community Leaders
The LLC program is designed to build a strong pipeline of civic leaders by offering hands-on experience, expert-led workshops, and direct interaction with local decision-makers.
