BEDFORD — Community members are invited to gather for food, music, and fellowship in support of local men in need during the annual “Spaghetti on the Square” fundraiser on Saturday, Sept. 26.
The event, benefiting the Men’s Warming Shelter of Bedford, will take place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Harp Commons on J Street, right on the square in downtown Bedford.
Tickets are available for $10 per person or $25 for a group of four. Attendees can purchase tickets at the event or in advance at Copy Trolley, the Bedford Chamber of Commerce, local participating churches, and directly from the Men’s Warming Shelter.
Guests will enjoy a complete spaghetti meal with live music, local radio fun with WQRK, and a silent auction featuring items provided by area businesses and local artisans. For those unable to stay and dine on-site, carryout and to-go service will also be available.
All proceeds directly support the shelter’s mission to serve the hungry, unhoused, and community members in need. The nonprofit operates a low-barrier, cold-weather men’s overnight shelter from Nov. 1 through March 31 (open daily 5 p.m. to 9 a.m.), as well as its year-round day support program, SPIN, which offers assistance Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
