Michelle L. Stiening, 59, of Butlerville, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at Seymour Crossing.
Born May 29, 1967, she was the daughter of Merle Borders and Asenatha (Johnson) Alka. Michelle was married to Marty Stiening. She loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She also loved animals, especially horses, unicorns, butterflies, and enjoyed dancing to music.
She is survived by her husband, Marty; two children, Jessica (Tony) Stewart and Maria Lieberman; grandchildren, Merecedes, Brayden, Evelyn, and Koen; siblings, Keith Borders (Dena Carver), Laura Borders (Jerry Brown); several cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, a grandson Bentley, and an uncle Ivan Borders.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:30 pm on Wednesday, August 5 th, in Crawford Cemetery, with Judy Thompson officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm on Wednesday, at Day & Carter Mortuary. Family and friends may express condolences at www.daycarter.com.
