BEDFORD — North Lawrence Community Schools has officially announced the implementation of the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for students attending Lincoln Elementary School for the upcoming 2026–2027 academic year.
Under this federal option through the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program, all students enrolled at Lincoln Elementary will be eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch every school day at no charge to their families.
Key Program Details
- Universal Free Meals: Every student attending Lincoln Elementary School qualifies for no-cost breakfast and lunch throughout the 2026–2027 school year.
- No Action Required: Parents and guardians of Lincoln Elementary students do not need to pay any fees or submit household meal applications for those children.
- Other District Schools: The CEP implementation applies specifically to Lincoln Elementary School. Families with children attending other schools within the North Lawrence Community Schools district must still submit a meal benefit application (or have received an official 2026–2027 determination letter) to be considered for free or reduced-price meals for those students.
