INDIANAPOLIS – After more than 25 years of service, Master Trooper Larry Noah is retiring from the Indiana State Police.
Master Trooper Noah is a native of Versailles, Indiana, and a 1996 graduate of South Ripley Jr/Sr. High School. Noah earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology/Psychology from Franklin College in 2000. He was selected to attend the 61st Indiana State Police Recruit Academy, which he successfully completed on June 24, 2001.
After graduation from the academy, Master Trooper Noah was assigned to the Versailles Post, where he served until transferring to the Indianapolis Post in 2024. During his career, he has served on the Mobile Field Force Team, as a member of the Honor Guard, and as a Field Training Officer. He received a combat action award for bravery during a critical incident along with a Distinguished Service Award. He has also received multiple awards for his D.U.I. enforcement efforts throughout his career.
Although he is retiring from the Indiana State Police, his public service is not over; he will begin a new position as a school resource officer in the Greenfield Central Schools.
Larry resides in Greenfield with his wife and two sons.
