BEDFORD — Golfers still hoping to take part in Agape Kids House’s 7th Annual Fore the Kids Golf Scramble are encouraged to register soon, as organizers say only 10 team spots remain for this year’s fundraiser.
The scramble will begin at 8 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, at Stonecrest Golf Course in Bedford. Medicine Plus Pharmacy is serving as the event sponsor.
The annual fundraiser benefits Agape Kids House, a Bedford-based transition home that provides emergency foster care for children in crisis. Proceeds from the event help support the organization’s mission of providing a safe, stable environment for children while they await long-term placement.
Registration costs $60 per golfer or $240 for a four-person team. Participants who register by July 26 will receive a free event T-shirt.
Teams can register online through Agape Kids House’s registration page. Those who would like to reserve a spot and pay on the day of the event are asked to email agapekidshouse@gmail.com to make arrangements.
The four-person scramble is open to golfers of all skill levels and serves as one of Agape Kids House’s largest annual fundraising events. Funds raised help provide daily care, housing, and other essential resources for children staying at the emergency foster care home.
With only 10 team openings remaining, organizers encourage interested golfers to register as soon as possible to secure a place in the tournament and take advantage of the free T-shirt offer before the July 26 deadline.
