Bloomington Community Farmers’ Market to celebrate Youth Day with family-friendly activities on July 21

BLOOMINGTON — Families are invited to celebrate Youth Day at the Bloomington Community Farmers’ Market on Tuesday with an evening of fresh local food, live music and community activities at Hopewell Commons.

The free event will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. at Hopewell Commons, 630 S. Morton St., during the Bloomington Community Farmers’ Market Tuesday Market on July 21st.

Organizers say Youth Day is designed to introduce children and families to the local food community while offering an opportunity to explore fresh, seasonal products and connect with local farmers and artisans.

Visitors can browse a variety of locally grown fruits and vegetables, shop from area food and beverage vendors, and enjoy ready-to-eat meals and treats prepared with locally sourced ingredients.

Live entertainment will begin at 5 p.m. with an acoustic performance by Connor Lovelace, providing music for shoppers and diners throughout the evening.

Market organizers encourage families to spend the evening exploring the market, supporting local vendors and making Youth Day part of their summer traditions.

The Bloomington Community Farmers’ Market Tuesday Market is held at Hopewell Commons and features local farmers, food producers, and artisans throughout the season. Admission to Youth Day is free and open to the public.
