Phillip Dale Lynn, 67, of Bedford, passed away at his home on June 30, 2026.
He was born on June 6, 1959, to the late Raymond and Thelma Lynn. He was married to Rhea Dawn Salmon for more than 30 years, and she preceded him in death in September 2025.
Phil was a hardworking man who built a life with his own hands. From running a body shop, pouring concrete, or working in the wood shop, he took pride in his work. But what mattered most to him was his family. Some of our favorite memories are of him taking us to play basketball, spending summer days tending to his garden, and quietly watching the birds and rabbits in the yard. He found joy in life’s simple moments and shared that joy with the people he loved. We will remember his laughter, his strength, and the countless moments we shared.
Surviving to cherish Phil’s memory are his children, Nicole Dawn Staggs, Anthony (Gabrielle) Lynn, Robert (Weverton Ataide Pinheiro) Lynn, Jona (Terry) Pemberton, and Dale Lynn; his grandchildren, Makenzie Staggs, Shawn Staggs, Kristen Pemberton, Megan Terrell, Maverick Lynn, Ivy Staggs, Claire Abell, Karter Pemberton, and Lynnox Terrell; his brother, Walter Lynn; and his nephew, Donald Blackey.
Cremation was chosen with no services.
