Call for Art: Indiana youth invited to submit artwork for statewide housing symposium

INDIANA The Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority (IHCDA), alongside the Indiana Balance of State Continuum of Care Youth Advisory Board, has announced a statewide “Call for Art” ahead of an upcoming Statewide Youth Symposium on Housing.

Organizers are inviting local youth and young adults to submit original artwork that captures the deeply personal experience of moving from housing insecurity to a sense of stability, safety, and hope.

According to officials, the selected pieces will play a central role in the symposium’s official event branding and promotional materials, helping to visually tell a story of resilience and underscore the critical importance of secure housing for young Hoosiers.

Submission Details & Requirements

  • Theme: Artwork must visually capture the transition from housing insecurity to stability, safety, and hope.
  • Eligible Participants: Youth and young adults across Indiana.
  • Application Deadline: All entries must be submitted by Sunday, July 12, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET.
