BEDFORD— A regional faith-based fellowship organization is inviting single adults from across Lawrence County and surrounding areas to gather for a mid-summer evening of food, conversation, and community connection.
Strengthening Singles will host a community pitch-in dinner on Saturday, July 18th, beginning at 6:00 p.m.
The fellowship event will take place at Hillcrest Christian Church, at 1130 Hillcrest Road in Bedford.
Strengthening Singles is a nondenominational, faith-based support and social group tailored specifically for unattached adults navigating various walks of life. The organization provides a welcoming, positive environment designed to foster friendships and spiritual encouragement for:
- Widowed individuals
- Divorced adults
- Never-married single adults
Organizers emphasize that the group is highly inclusive, and new guests or individuals attending for the very first time are always warmly welcomed.
As a traditional pitch-in dinner, attendees are encouraged to bring a favorite covered dish, side, or dessert to share with the group. The event offers a relaxed environment to meet new people and build a localized support network.
