BEDFORD — As summer programs peak and preparations begin for the upcoming school year, the leadership and operational team at the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence County is spending significant time outside the classroom to enhance their skills.
The organization recently launched its comprehensive summer staff training initiative, a program designed to ensure that frontline youth workers are equipped with advanced safety, health, and leadership certifications.

Expanding Beyond Basic Programming

Additionally, personnel are completing comprehensive food safety training. This certification ensures that the thousands of free meals and snacks distributed to Lawrence County youth through the after-school and summer programs meet strict public health and sanitation standards.
