BEDFORD — Street paving projects continue across the City of Bedford this week, prompting local officials to urge residents to use extra caution when traveling through work areas.
According to the Bedford Street Department, the targeted streets will be completely closed to traffic while paving is underway. Motorists should note that all paving schedules are highly dependent on the weather and may be adjusted as necessary.
The tentative schedule for the upcoming week includes the following closures:

- Forestview Drive – From Broadway Drive to 29th Street
- 21st Street – From Mitchell Road to Washington Avenue
Wednesday, June 17
- 15th Street – From H Street to the City Limits
- G Street – From 14th Street to 19th Street
Thursday, June 18
- F Street – From 17th Street to 19th Street
- D Street – From 16th Street to 19th Street
- C Street – From 16th Street to 19th Street
Friday, June 19
- C Street – From 19th Street to 20th Street
- D Street – From 19th Street to 20th Street
- E Street – From 19th Street to 20th Street
- 19th Street – From B Street to I Street
Monday, June 22
- F Street – From 19th Street to 22nd Street
