Ronald L. Losey, 81, of Mitchell, passed away on June 5, 2026, at his residence. Ron was born in Massena, New York, to Wallace and Irene (Duquette) Losey. Ron was married to Bernice I. Losey for forty-one years until her death. Ron will be forever remembered by his only sister, Betty Richard of New York, and his two children, Lisa M. Campbell and Kathy I. Lester, eight grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Ronald was a veteran of the US Army and served in the Vietnam War. He was wounded three times, he received three Purple Hearts, and he was also awarded a Bronze Star Medal for his heroic achievements and acts of valor in combat. Ron worked at General Motors for 21 years. He had to retire for medical reasons. Ron faithfully attended the Work of God Church in Mitchell.
Memorial services will be on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Cresthaven Funeral Home with Randy Martin officiating. Military rites will be performed by the Bedford American Legion Post #33.
