BEDFORD — Golfers, community supporters, and local businesses are preparing to tee off for a cause as the 4th Annual Man in the Mirror SoIN Golf Scramble returns Friday, June 20, at Stone Crest Golf Community.
The annual fundraiser continues to grow each year, with 13 teams already registered or confirmed and expectations of more than 20 teams participating by tournament day. The scramble can accommodate up to 30 teams, according to event organizer Nate Flynn.
Registration remains open online, and sponsorship opportunities are still available at multiple levels for businesses and organizations looking to support the event.
The tournament will feature an 8:15 a.m. shotgun start and several special attractions designed to create an energetic atmosphere for participants throughout the day. Organizers are planning a surprise guest appearance to welcome golfers before play begins.
Among the featured contests is a $10,000 Hole-in-One Challenge sponsored by Popcorn Christian Church. Golfers will also compete in closest-to-the-pin challenges and a unique “Top 10 weighted drawing” prize opportunity.
Long-drive professional Mick Yelovich will also be on the course, interacting with golfers and offering additional prize opportunities during the scramble.
Tournament registration includes green fees, lunch, and a SWAG bag for participants. Organizers estimate between 80 and 120 golfers will participate, along with several dozen volunteers helping coordinate the event.
Last year’s event drew strong community support, and organizers hope to continue building on that momentum while creating a fun environment for golfers and supporters alike.
Man in the Mirror SoIN uses the annual golf scramble as both a fundraiser and community outreach opportunity, bringing together local businesses, churches, and residents in support of its mission.
