SULLIVAN COUNTY – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a road closure for State Road 54 in Sullivan County
Beginning on or around Thursday, May 28, crews will close S.R. 54 near Dugger. This closure will occur at the railroad crossing near County Road 900 East.

This road closure is for an emergency railroad crossing replacement project. Work is expected to take three days to complete, depending on the weather.
The official detour is U.S. 41 to State Road 58 to State Road 67. Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones.
