BEDFORD — Local children have an exciting opportunity to explore the rich history of American music this summer. The StoneGate Arts and Education Center has officially announced registration is open for “Happy Birthday USA: A Celebration of American Music,” a specialized summer music camp designed for students entering grades 3 through 6.

The week-long camp will run from June 15–19, 2026, with daily sessions held from 9:00 a.m. until Noon at the StoneGate Arts and Education Center in downtown Bedford.
The camp is structured to keep young minds engaged by diving into a brand-new genre and style of American music each day. Rather than traditional lectures, campers will experience history dynamically through a variety of interactive methods, including:
- Vocal Exploration: Singing classic and influential American melodies.
- Active Learning: Rhythmic movement, choreography, and team-building games.
- Hands-On Expression: Creative crafts and direct musical experiences with instruments.
The program will be spearheaded by veteran instructors Becky Muncy and Amy Price, both of whom are well-known in the local community for their passion for music education and their ability to create highly engaging, positive learning environments for children.
