WBIW Senior Fair promises a fun, unforgettable day as Vertical Home Health serves as title sponsor and community partner

BEDFORD — Vertical Home Health will take a leading role in this year’s Senior Fair, serving as the title sponsor for the annual event focused on connecting older adults, caregivers, and families with valuable community resources and services.

The Senior Fair, hosted by 1340 WBIW, Southern Indiana’s Classic Hits 105.5, and 102.5 Litefm, is scheduled for May 20 at Sherwood Oaks Christian Church, 508 Fellowship Drive in Bedford. It brings together healthcare providers, senior-focused organizations, and local businesses offering information and support tailored to aging adults. As the title sponsor, Vertical Home Health plans to use the event as an opportunity to engage directly with the community and share information about in-home care services.

Representatives from the Bedford-based home healthcare provider will offer free blood pressure checks at the event, along with informational materials about the company’s services, giveaways, and branded merchandise. Staff members will also be available to answer questions from attendees about home healthcare services and available resources for individuals seeking care at home.

Vertical Home Health provides both skilled and non-skilled home health services, including personal care, companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and nursing support.

Melissia Bell, the company’s human resources director, said helping individuals remain in familiar surroundings is one of the most meaningful parts of the work.

“Helping someone stay in their home, where they’re most comfortable, is something really special,” Bell said. “It’s an honor to be part of that.”

The Senior Fair has become a longstanding community event that brings together a variety of organizations and resources focused on senior services and support.
