MITCHELL — The Mitchell Community Schools (MCS) Board of Trustees is scheduled to hold a regular session on Monday, May 11, 2026. The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the MCS Administration Office.
The board is expected to address several personnel matters, including the resignation of four teachers and a library aide. Additionally, the agenda includes a recommendation to add 15 days to the teaching contracts for Mitchell High School counselors and the consideration of coaching recommendations for the Fall 2026 athletics season.
Other key items for action include the approval of the Student/Parent Handbook for the Bluejacket Virtual Academy and a fund transfer to close the MJHS Garden Club account.
