Free lunch, fresh refreshments and a full day of fun at the 2026 WBIW Senior Fair

BEDFORD — One of the most popular attractions at the 2026 WBIW Senior Fair presented by Vertical Home Health may once again be found around the lunch tables.

Attendees at this year’s Senior Fair will be treated to a free lunch provided by Stonebridge Health Campus, continuing a tradition that has become a favorite among returning guests. Organizers say the complimentary meal gives visitors a taste of the same quality dining residents at Stonebridge enjoy every day.

Brooklynn Newland, Director of Sales for Stonebridge Health Campus, joined host Jeff Wagoner and Senior Fair Co-coordinator Timber Browning for an episode of WBIW’s Talk of the Town and shared what Stonebridge is preparing for the attendees of this year’s Senior Fair presented by Vertical Home Health:

The lunch menu will include a choice between two meals. You can select a pulled pork sandwich with macaroni and cheese and cole slaw, or choose the chicken salad sandwich served with chips, a fruit cup, and potato soup. Stonebridge Health Campus will also be serving drinks and desserts. The meal will be served during the free community event beginning at noon, while supplies last.

In addition to lunch, visitors can enjoy a variety of complimentary snacks and refreshments throughout the day. Free treats available during the event will include cookies and donuts from Beford’s one and only Magic Morning Bakery, fresh-popped popcorn, and coffee. Organizers say the refreshments help create a welcoming atmosphere while attendees visit vendors, participate in the free health screenings, and enjoy entertainment during the fair.

The 2026 Senior Fair, presented by Vertical Home Health and hosted by 1340 WBIW, 105.5 WQRK, and 102.5 Litefm, will be held on Wednesday, May 20, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Sherwood Oaks Christian Church, located at 508 Fellowship Drive in Bedford. The event is free and open to the public, with seniors and caregivers especially encouraged to attend.

The annual event brings together exhibitors from across the region offering information, products, services, and resources tailored to older adults and those caring for them. Visitors can also take advantage of free giveaways, health screenings, demonstrations, and prize drawings throughout the day.

Stonebridge Health Campus has long been a supporter of the Senior Fair and is among many organizations and over 50 vendors that are participating in this year’s event. Organizers say the fair continues to grow each year as more businesses and healthcare providers recognize the importance of connecting directly with area seniors and their families.
