ODON — The Town of Odon is helping residents clear out the clutter this month as the 2026 Annual Dumpster Cleanup campaign officially kicks off.
To beautify the community and provide a convenient disposal option for bulky items, the town will place dumpsters on two consecutive Saturdays in May.
Residents looking to dispose of unwanted household items can find the dumpsters located behind the Odon Fire Station. The service will be available on:
- Saturday, May 16th
- Saturday, May 16th
Operation hours begin at 8:00 a.m. each morning. Residents are encouraged to arrive early, as the service is first-come, first-served and will conclude for the day once the containers are full.
To ensure a smooth process and compliance with waste management regulations, the town has issued the following restrictions:
- Eligibility: This service is strictly for Odon residents only.
- Prohibited Items: The following materials will not be accepted:
- Tires
- Yard waste (limbs, grass clippings, leaves)
- Liquid waste (paint, oil, chemicals)
This annual event remains a staple for the community, providing an easy way to manage large-scale disposal that regular weekly trash pickup cannot accommodate. Residents with questions regarding specific items are encouraged to contact the town hall before the event dates.
