JASPER – On Friday, April 25th, the Indiana State Police hosted an Open House and Recruiting Event at the Vincennes University Jasper Center. College students and high school seniors from the Jasper District who are interested in pursuing a career in law enforcement were invited to attend.

Representatives from the Indiana State Police Honor Guard, SWAT, K-9, EOD, Crime Scene Investigations, Dive Team, Recruiting Division, and the National Guard were present. The event provided attendees with valuable insight into the wide range of career opportunities and specialized tools utilized in law enforcement.
Attendees had the opportunity to interact with Troopers, ask questions, and gain a deeper understanding of careers in law enforcement. We extend our appreciation to all students and staff who participated and contributed to the success of this event.
This event would not have been possible without the coordination and efforts of numerous Troopers and Professional Staff members. We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to the following local businesses and organizations for their generous contributions:
• Drew Ponder, Indiana Pork Farmers
• Trent Graber, United Excavating & General Contracting Incorporated
• Isaac Wagler, Wagler Longhorn
• Oink Inc Smokehouse and Southern Kitchen
• Shaw McGillem, PepsiCo
