WASHINGTON, D.C., – On Monday, Senator Jim Banks (R-Ind.) released a statement following his appointment as Chairman of the Subcommittee on Employment and Workplace Safety on the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee.

The Senate HELP Committee is led by Chairman Bill Cassidy (R-La.) and has three subcommittees, which have jurisdiction over health care, education, employment, and retirement policies
