RetrOasis set to bring retro vibes to Dogwood Festival Main Stage

ORLEANS The soundtrack to the 56th Annual Orleans Dogwood Festival just got a major shot of nostalgia. Festival organizers have confirmed that the popular Bedford-based band RetrOasis will take the main stage for a high-energy performance on Friday, April 24th.

The FREE concert is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. in the heart of historic downtown Orleans.

Formerly known to local fans as “Old n’ Gold,” RetrOasis has built a loyal following across Southern Indiana for its faithful recreations of the greatest hits from the 1960s, ’70s, and ’80s. Their expansive setlist promises something for every generation of music lover, featuring iconic tracks from The Beatles, Journey, The Cars, and more classic rock and pop legends.

The band is known for more than just music; they provide an interactive experience that keeps crowds on their feet, dancing and singing along to the “classics” that defined decades of American culture.

With a large crowd expected for the Friday night centerpiece, attendees are encouraged to arrive early to find a spot.

While there is plenty of space in the town park square, permanent seating is limited. Fans are strongly encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets.

Like most Dogwood Festival entertainment, the concert is open to the public at no cost.

The Main Stage is situated on Congress Square, surrounded by the festival’s vendors and carnival atmosphere.

Whether you’re looking to relive the “Summer of ’69” or rock out to the anthems of the ’80s, Friday night in Orleans promises to be an “oasis” of timeless hits. For more information on the full festival lineup, visit the official Dogwood Festival website or the Chamber of Commerce headquarters on the north side of the square.
