Daviess Community Hospital Foundation opens registration for 2nd Annual Dr. Suresh Lohano Pickleball Tournament

WASHINGTON Picklers of all ages and skill levels are invited to grab their paddles for a cause this summer. The Daviess Community Hospital (DCH) Foundation has officially opened registration for its 2nd Annual Pickleball Tournament, scheduled for June 26–28, 2026.

The three-day event will be held at the Daviess County Pickleball Courts, located at 812 Front Street in Washington.

The tournament is held in memory of the late Dr. Suresh Lohano, a beloved local physician and avid pickleball enthusiast. Beyond celebrating Dr. Lohano’s passion for the sport, the event serves as a fundraiser for the DCH Foundation’s ongoing mission to enhance healthcare services throughout the community.

The foundation welcomes players ages 8 and older, ranging from beginners to seasoned veterans. Competitors can sign up for several divisions, including:

  • Singles
  • Doubles
  • Mixed Doubles

Winners will be recognized in each skill level category, ensuring a competitive and fun environment for all participants.

Registration Details

The deadline to register for the tournament is June 18, 2026. The process differs slightly based on the player’s age:

Adults can register online at dchosp.co/2026pickleball or by scanning the QR code.

Parents or guardians must register youth players by texting 812-664-6515 with the player’s name and age.

All youth participants must have a signed waiver on file to compete.
