BEDFORD – The Lawrence County Republican Party will host a County Council and County Commissioner Candidate Forum on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the Historic Indiana Limestone Company, located at 405 I Street in Bedford.

This public forum will provide voters with an opportunity to hear directly from Republican candidates seeking nomination for Lawrence County Council and Lawrence County Commissioner. Attendees will be able to learn more about each candidate’s priorities, positions on key issues affecting Lawrence County, and their vision for the community’s future.
The event is open to the public, and residents are encouraged to attend, ask questions, and become informed ahead of the upcoming election cycle.
“Events like this are an important part of ensuring voters stay informed and engaged in the election process,” said Lawrence County Republican Party Chairman Chase Cummings. “We want voters to have the opportunity to hear directly from the candidates, understand where they stand on the issues, and engage in meaningful discussion about the future of Lawrence County.”
Light snacks and refreshments will be provided by the Lawrence County Republican Women’s Club.
