Lincoln Elementary to host 11th Annual Camp Invention: “Spark” 2026

BEDFORD Innovation is returning to the halls of Lincoln Elementary this June as the school celebrates over a decade of partnership with Camp Invention. The nationally acclaimed nonprofit summer enrichment program, a program of the National Inventors Hall of Fame, will offer local students a week of “creative chaos” and hands-on STEM learning.

Camp Invention: Spark is scheduled for June 22–26, 2026. The program is open to children entering Kindergarten through 6th grade, with specialized leadership tracks available for students entering grades 7 through 9.

All-New 2026 Curriculum

This year’s “Spark” program introduces four brand-new modules designed to build confidence and problem-solving skills:

  • Fur-ensics™: Campers become high-tech detectives, exploring forensic science, DNA evidence, and fingerprints. Participants will even work with their own robotic capybara to solve mysteries.
  • Make Waves™: A deep dive into the physics of water and the “waves” of entrepreneurship. Students will design and build “billboard boats” that actually float.
  • Space Morphers™: A mission to Mars and beyond. Explorers will build DIY rockets, launch planetary missions, and record scientific data in their own space labs.
  • The Infringers™: Working alongside the “Innovation Force,” campers will learn about cryptography and intellectual property, building wearable devices to protect their “genius ideas” from sneaky infringers.

Registration and Savings

Organizers are offering several “early bird” incentives for families who register ahead of the summer rush:

  • FUN25: Saves $25 if registered by March 31.
  • FUN20: Saves $20 if registered by April 28.
  • Sibling Discounts: Use codes SIBSAVE30 or SIBSAVE40 for families with multiple campers.
  • Volunteer Perk: Parent volunteers can receive $100 off their child’s registration.

Extended Care Options
