BEDFORD – The Land of Limestone Master Gardeners will present an educational session on mushroom growing on Thursday, March 12, 2026. The event is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. in Room 300 of the StoneGate Center for the Arts, located at 931 15th St. in Bedford. Special guest Cortland Carrington with American Mushroom and Spice Company will lead the program.
Mushroom starter blocks will be available for purchase at a price of $10 each. Varieties offered include Pohu Oyster and Lion’s Mane. Individuals interested in purchasing starter blocks must email cheryl.coon@usda.gov to make a request.
