Purdue Extension to host spring break 4-H entomology workshop March 16

MONROE COUNTY — Purdue Extension Monroe County will host a free Spring Break 4-H Entomology Workshop on Monday, March 16, for youth interested in learning about insects and beginning a 4-H entomology project.

During the hands-on workshop, youth will learn how the 4-H entomology project works and practice pinning, labeling, and identifying insects. Participants will also receive guidance on starting or improving an insect collection from 4-H alum Sawyer Scheid and Purdue Entomology.

The event is open to 4-H youth and Mini 4-H members in Greene, Lawrence, Brown, Morgan, Monroe, Owen, and Orange counties.

Registration is required by March 15 and can be completed online.
