MITCHELL – Backwoods Bluegrass Band will perform live at the Mitchell Opera House on March 14th at 7:00 p.m.
Hailing from Southern Indiana, Backwoods Bluegrass has quickly become one of the internet’s favorite bluegrass bands, reaching over 17 million views on YouTube alone! Backwoods breaks boundaries by honoring traditional bluegrass sounds and styles and applying them to many fan favorite classic country and 90’s country hits.
You can expect to hear tunes from the bluegrass legends like J.D. Crowe and Jimmy Martin, to chart-topping songs from Merle Haggard, George Jones, and Alan Jackson, along with plenty of classic gospel tunes as well. With their unique style, Backwoods has captured the ears of many music fans worldwide, young and old.
Tickets are $25 for adults and $13 for kids 12 and under. E-tickets can be purchased by visiting mitchelloperahouse.com. Tickets can also be purchased with cash or check at ACE in Mitchell or at the ticket booth the night of the event with cash, check, or card.
Doors will open at 6:15 p.m. Mitchell Opera House is handicap accessible. All seating is first-come, first-served.
Food and drinks are not permitted in the auditorium.
