LAWRENCE COUNTY — A powerful new partnership between the Lawrence County Community Foundation (LCCF) and United Way of South Central Indiana (UWSCI) is giving local donors a rare chance to see their generosity multiplied by three.
Now through April 30, 2026, every donation made to the United Way’s Lawrence County Fund will be matched two-to-one, effectively tripling the impact of every gift up to a total of $2,500. Under this limited-time challenge, a $50 donation instantly becomes $150 to support critical safety-net programs right here at home.

The funds raised through this “Triple Your Impact” campaign are designated exclusively for Lawrence County residents. These dollars fuel programs designed to disrupt the cycle of poverty and support the next generation of Hoosiers:
- In-School Mentoring: Pairing at-risk middle and high school students in Bedford and Mitchell with caring adult mentors to improve academic success and self-worth.
- Truancy Case Management: Working with K-2 students at Lincoln and Hatfield Elementary schools to overcome barriers to attendance, such as transportation or housing instability.
- Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library: Providing free, high-quality books every month to children from birth to age five, regardless of family income.
