Midwest breeders to descend on Lawrence County for 14th Annual Rabbit Show

BEDFORD — The Lawrence County Fairgrounds will become a hub of activity for rabbit enthusiasts this March as the Lawrence County 4-H Rabbit Club hosts its 14th Annual Open Show.

Set for March 6 and 7, 2026, at the Lawrence County Fairgrounds (11265 US 50), this event stands as a premier regional competition that regularly attracts more than 1,200 entries.

The show is officially sanctioned by the American Rabbit Breeders Association (ARBA), providing a high-level platform for breeders to compete and showcase their stock.

This annual tradition attracts exhibitors from across the Midwest, creating a unique opportunity for local 4-H members and youth to test their skills against a wide field of competitors.

This year’s event features an expanded lineup of 13 different shows, including:

  • 4 All-Breed Shows
  • 5 Specialty Shows

The 14th Annual Open Show is open to the public with no admission cost, making it a family-friendly opportunity to see a diverse array of breeds and learn more about rabbit husbandry.
